Glenard and Mario Foston are the proud owners of The EMPOWERMENT HOUSE. Glenard uses his skills as a former mechanical engineer and HVAC tech to ensure that the home is structurally sound and safe. Mario is an interior decorator-designer who creates and maintains an ambiance that is functional, creative and aesthetically beautiful.

Together, the couple’s skill set creates an ambiance that is peaceful and dignified. “It started as a labor of love,” says Mario. “We have a family member who struggles with mental health challenges. The process of finding care for our loved one was grueling because we didn’t know where to begin. When we learned the steps involved, we knew we had to be part of the process.”

Glen and Mario have been married for over 40 years and are dedicated to helping men learn the life skills necessary to possibly become independent citizens that thrive.
